Welcome Welcome to the MISSOULA Montana KOA campground! We are located in the beautiful Missoula Valley in Western Montana. We are your Family Fun headquarters for a perfect Western Montana visit! Camp under large shade trees with lush green grass. Our campground is located in Missoula right off I-90 (Exit 101) Reserve Street. Base camp with us while you explore Lewis & Clark’s trail, Glacier National Park, the Bitterroot Valley. Missoula is the hub for shopping, outdoor activities, history & culture to name a few! Our campground features every amenity that you could need while camping! Check out our campground facilities, amenities and services for more information! Being located in the largest city in Western Montana gives you many opportunities to get a feel for Montana’s unique and wonderful quality of life! Missoula, nestled in the Rockies of Western Montana is one of America's most sophisticated small towns. Missoula has what you'd expect to find in a big city (museums, live theatre productions). Still, what tops all else in Missoula is Mother Nature. Missoula is surrounded by millions of acres of wilderness and recreation areas. This combination makes a trip to Missoula a one-of-a-kind vacation.
Our campground is tucked away in it’s own little quiet corner of Missoula where you will be able to relax with a quiet nights sleep. We are open year round with limited services during the winter months. Missoula / El-Mar KOA has won numerous awards as the campground facilities have been expanded. These awards include Campground of the Year, Franchise of the Year, and Award of Merit for Outstanding Service for 15 consecutive years. In 1989 KOA Inc. decided to stimulate improvement of the 20 year old campground system buildings and grounds. They offered over $30,000 in prizes as an incentive to KOA owners to improve their facilities. Missoula/El-Mar KOA accepted the challenge and was among 60 applicants in the nationwide Image Contest. On February 13, 1990 our KOA was presented with a new Chevrolet pickup as Grand Prize winner. Among the facilities provided by our KOA are Kamping Kabins, full hookup sites, premium RV sites, 2 playgrounds, fun bike rentals, Swimming Pool, Adult Hot tubs, Game Room, Unique Mini-golf, a duck pond and more!
